And ACTION – Digitalising Tovar Bodega de Bodegas

Arriving at the Tovar Bodega de Bodegas in Trigueros del Valle (Valladolid), we were welcomed warmely by Raquel, who gave us a tour through the bodega and told us about its rich history and characteristic.
We experienced a large underground tunnel system connecting five, formely independently owned and used, bodegas. Today, the bodegas are connected to allow visitors to access the different bodegas successively and experience the difference in size, wall texture and facility. To differentiate between the bodegas, different colours of light are used. Taking the panoramic picture, we chose to keep the different light colours to allow distinguishing between the bodegas and to create an authentic experience – just as if one visits the bodega in person.

The temperature in these bodegas, being underground cellars, was only 3°C and yet, it felt warmer than outside on this Tuesday, 4th of February. Spending some hours in the cellar, we took multiple panoramic images to capture the uniqueness of the individual bodegas and the compositions of bodegas as whole.

In the upcoming weeks, we will generate the panoramic tour and implement additional media content to create an interactiv learning experience.
